Is your gut making you sick?

Gut health is at the core of our well‐being

60 ‐ 80% of our immune system is in our gut, and 90% of our neurotransmitters are in the gut. Problems in our gastrointestinal tract can cause more than just stomach pain, gas, bloating, or diarrhoea; they can be the root cause of many chronic health problems. Gut imbalances have been linked to hormonal imbalances, autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, diabetes, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression, eczema, and rosacea… to name a few. Could your issues originate in your gut? Let’s do a test.

Do you have any of the following symptoms:

  • You feel like your food just sits there;
  • tired after eating;
  • excessive bloating or gas;
  • experience hard to diagnose symptoms such as fatigue, joint pain;
  • diarrhoea or constipation;
  • an autoimmune disease;
  • indigestion;
  • Fibromyalgia (characterized by chronic widespread pain, tiredness, sleep problems)

All these signs show that the gastrointestinal tract may not be functioning optimally, and a gastrointestinal tract that is out of balance, which can be the core imbalance causing your symptoms and lack of wellness.

The gastrointestinal tract serves as a key component in the body’s immune system and detoxification process.

Much of your immune system resides in and around the gastrointestinal tract to assess if incoming food is friend or foe, and to ensure that any toxins we absorb can be removed efficiently.

Illness develops if, and when, we cannot digest and absorb nutrients well, we do not eliminate regularly, and we expose our immune system to particles, which should not be entering our system. This phenomenon is known as leaky gut. Leaky gut occurs when substances that should be kept out of the rest of your body crosses the gut lining.

This will often occur after exposure to antibiotics, steroids, other infections, or by consuming foods that you don’t tolerate well. When particles breach the otherwise intact stomach lining, your immune system reacts and creates inflammation, which can result in the many symptoms described above.

What to do…

Fasting on liquids only for 2 days is a great way to start a cleansing and healing of the gut. We encourage having Vegetable Juices containing cabbage daily, which is wonderfully gut repairing, Vegetables Broths and Hydration Water.

Remove, Replenish, Rebalance, Maintain

The goal is to get rid of things that negatively affect the environment of the gastrointestinal tract, such as inflammatory foods, infections, and gastric irritants, such as alcohol, caffeine, sugar, or drugs. We use ImmunoClean™ in combination with the 5 Track Plan to reduce and remove these infections.

There are several natural anti-parasite programs that we use to effectively and naturally reduce the toxic parasitic burden in the human frame. It is important to respect the body’s biological processes and to be consistent.

Stay gentle with yourself (and others) throughout the process!

Coconut oil is another superfood you should not be without. The healthy saturated fats are an integral part to healing your gut. Lauric, capric and caprylic acids in coconut oil have antimicrobial, anti-fungal, and antiviral properties. Coconut oil should be used in its organic form, extra virgin and cold pressed. I suggest you find ways to include it in your life by researching its many functions. Other key nutrients that are necessary for your gut repair include zinc, omega-3, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E (click here to research more:  )

Restoring beneficial bacteria to re-establish a healthy balance of good bacteria is critical. You can accomplish this by taking a natural probiotic such as sauerkraut, goat, or sheep yogurt, grated browned apple, goat kefir, coconut kefir or kombucha. Add to that some prebiotic foods, those non-digestible short-chain fatty acids that help good bacteria flourish. To ensure you have sufficient prebiotics, foods such as artichokes, garlic, beans, oats, onions, and asparagus are necessary. I recommend anywhere from 25 -100 billion units a day will support your gut to reach a healthy, happy life.

Your gut is one of the key bases for your body’s happiness and health, take it seriously and treat it well. Never before has man been in more toxic and poisonous environments. Your air, water, food, soil, clothing, things you touch, they all find their way into the body, so be aware, and be conscious. The need to detoxify and cleanse your body has never been greater than right now.
